South Goa soothed our road-weary souls like a balm. Our Sabina River Homestay at Galgibaga was absolutely incredible and we ate, slept, swam in the sea, and relaxed. Only once did we go to see the churches and the crowd, heat, and chaos were enough to send us scuttling back to our south Goa seclusion. Rest and seclusion were what we were looking for and South Goa provided us with the most blissful beach experience. The Galgibaga and Patnem beaches were quieter, with away-from-it-all vibes and the lively Canacona town had enough nice bakeries and restaurants for quick urban fills. Take a look at our South Goa stay photo essay and tell me if it doesn´t tempt you to pack your bags and leave.
